Step by Step tour guides are welcoming and friendly and we are so excited to share our city with you. Toronto’s Greatest Hits Walking Tour is our MOST popular and highest rated route! It starts in the very heart of downtown Toronto, Yonge and Dundas Square and ends at St Lawrence Market (which was once named the best food market in the world by National Geographic)! The tour will start downtown and will take us through the Yonge-Bay Corridor, Financial district, and focus heavily on the Old Town and the Market District. Our small groups (10-12 people) make for an intimate and inviting experience. We will take you through the streets and will stop outside the most iconic spots such as: The Eaton Center, Old City Hall, Nathan Phillips Square, Osgoode Hall, TD Square, Brookfield Place, The Gooderham Flatiron Building, St. James Cathedral, The Oldest Post Office and St. Lawrence Market. The tour will focus heavily on the history of the buildings we visit including accounts about some of the architects, founders, or influential people who somehow shaped what you see! The majority of the tour is completely outdoors with the exception of the Oldest Post Office so please dress weather-appropriate.

 

NOTE: It does not end in the same place it begins.  There's a ten minute bathroom/snack break halfway through.
